GEMCO
was founded in 1946 by Mr. Goodloe E. Moore and
is the oldest insulation fastener manufacturing company in the United
States. The company takes the name GEMCO
from the Goodloe E. Moore
CO. GEMCO was
founded in Danville, IL, USA where it is still located today.
In 1979 the company was sold to Mr. Robert Rew
who immediately recognized that if GEMCO
was to survive it must manufacture a complete line of insulation fasteners
at competitive prices. Mr. Rew made the proper investments in people,
machinery and training. The results of these investments is that
GEMCO is now the leader in the insulation
fastener industry. Since 1979 GEMCO
has grown from a 5,000 sq. ft. building to a 56,000 sq. ft. plant.
At GEMCO we promise to provide quality products,
